A scream for justice for victims of sexual violence in armed conflict.

An artistic hybrid documentary, Zero Impunity is the centerpiece of an ambitious global transmedia project. The documentary sheds a powerful spotlight on the seemingly total impunity for the use of sexual violence in armed conflicts worldwide. By offering a voice to victims across the globe, including Syria and Ukraine, on the African Continent and in the US, the documentary is an important documentation and a necessary eye-opening call to action, raising awareness and outrage.

Talk: Perpetrators Unpunished

How can we, as individuals, as communities and as an international society, organize and work for access to justice for survivors and victims of human rights violations and fight against impunity?

What to do when sexual violence is carried out by your own government, or when there’s no impartial legal body that deals with your report of rape, or when sexual violence in war is not defined as what it is: A crime against humanity? The panel will discuss concrete strategies on how we can fight impunity on different levels; On international level, on a legal level, on grassroots level.
